Breakwater Contracting Ltd. is a civil construction company located in Chilliwack, BC., who is currently looking for a Jr Foreman or Lead Hand.?

The following are some of, but not limited to,?the job requirements, abilities and understandings:??

Knowledge of grades, sloping, elevations and lasers.

Experience in a civil construction environment, 3 years minimum.

Must have valid drivers licence and reliable transportation.

Be able to complete tasks independently and without supervision.

Operate and maintain small tools and equipment.

Handle materials and transport them on job sites.

Collaborate with team members.

Maintain job site cleanliness.

Strong work ethic a requirement.?

Strong written and verbal communication?

Ability to follow instructions and be adaptable to take on new responsibilities as needed.

Provide labour support as needed.

Work safely around heavy construction equipment.

Must have proper PPE.

Physical Demands:

Lift?and carry materials?up?to 50lbs?

Stand or walk for long periods of time.?

Extensive shoveling and raking?

Bending and crouching for extended periods of time?

Climbing in and out of trenches?

Climbing on ladders?

Work in extreme temperatures?

Compensation & Benefits

?

$33 - $39 / per hour

Wage negotiable based on knowledge, skill and experience?

Extended benefits after a?3 month?period

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
