JOURNEYPERSON WELDER/FABRICATOR - Summit (Prince George, BC)

We are looking for a permanent, full time, Journeyperson Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the welding repairs and fabrication on heavy duty trucks and trailers; all while ensuring quality workmanship and working as a member of a strong team.

Responsibilities:

Repairs and fabrication on various makes of heavy duty trucks and trailers. Follow directions given in layouts and work orders. Strong knowledge and skill in operating all welding equipment Successful candidate must supply their own tools Working on mechanical items between welding jobs

Hours:

Monday to Friday (8AM to 4:30PM)

Education & Experience:

Certification as a Welder and Fabricator Ability to interpret layouts and follow work order instructions. Strong fabrication skillset Previous experience in new truck rig ups and gravel box installation an asset Team player with a strong commitment to customer service Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills Ability to perform physically demanding duties Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade Must have good written and verbal communication skills Have a strong mechanical aptitude and have the ability to handle multiple tasks Take pride in your work
