We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and mechanical systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, fittings, and water heaters. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks effectively. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing with heating and cooling systems. Perform heavy lifting as required for installation and repair tasks. Execute basic carpentry work related to plumbing installations. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with HVAC systems and a gas ticket is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Pay: $44.00-$47.00 per hour
