Overview

We are seeking a skilled JourneyPerson Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and be proficient in working with various materials to create smooth and durable surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Restore and renovate existing plasterwork, ensuring a high-quality finish. Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps effectively. Operate heavy equipment as needed for larger projects while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including masons and general contractors, to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of plastering materials, techniques, and tools, including both hand tools and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience in masonry is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and operate equipment safely. A willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills within the trade.

Pay: $30.00-$41.00 per hour
