Journeyperson Pipefitter

Job Description
We are looking for Journeyperson Pipefitters to join our team on a client site in Elkford, BC. This position is expected to start April 11th to April 12th.
What would you be doing?
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections, and related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.
- Have a Journeyperson Pipefitter ticket (Red Seal Certificate, if out of province).
- CSTS Ticket.
- Enjoy a varied workload.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Benefits after 300 hours of work.
- Pay rate: 43.50 per hour.
- Living accomodation: CAMP only.
- Opportunity to move to other projects.
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
