POSITION SUMMARY

The Motor Mechanic is required to ensure all mobile Company equipment is repaired and maintained in the most cost effective manner while adhering to the preventive maintenance program.

The hourly rate is $41.86 and requires membership in the Teamsters Union, Local 213. Shift work may be required.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A BC/Inter-Provincial Heavy Duty Mechanic Trade Qualification or a BC/Inter-Provincial Automotive Trade Qualification.
• Propane certification and Air brake certification would be considered an asset.
• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience, including the preventive maintenance and repair of fork trucks and tractors, and diesel and propane experience.
