About The Role

Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Journeyperson Millwright will execute a wide range of mechanical projects, including installations, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and facility moves throughout the Lower Mainland. The role may also include supervising the work of apprentices or acting as lead hand in the Foreman's absence.

Key responsibilities include:Travel to a variety of customer sites in commercial and/or industrial environments to execute planned maintenance, repairs, or upgrades; Ensure all executed work follows scope and meets quality standards; Maintain exceptional communication standards, setting clear expectations and guiding the customer experience throughout; Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including completing daily FLRAs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Journeyperson Millwright with industrial experience, a background in mentoring apprentices, strong customer service skills, and a focus on quality and safety. You're committed to meeting customer needs, resilient in the face of challenges, and understand the value of teamwork in representing a skilled trades company. You demonstrate sound judgment, creative problem-solving, and are eager to contribute in a dynamic team environment while building strong relationships across the business.

Our Must Haves

Red Seal Millwright certification; Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear; Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License and has reliable transportation; Experience working in commercial and/or industrial environments.

Wage:

$48.00-$52.00 per hour + Please note - the listed hourly rate is dependent on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
