Journeyperson Electrician

Immediate Start

Duties:

You will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair wiring, equipment, and fixtures per ESA and code standards Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Lead and mentor apprentices on job sites Ensure a clean and safe work environment Maintain accurate documentation and job records Communicate professionally with clients and inspectors Participate in on-call work as required

Working Conditions

Work includes both

indoor and outdoor

environments May involve

tight spaces

heights up to 60 feet

, and

frequent lifting (50 lbs)

Use of ladders, power tools, and testing equipment required Travel between job sites in company vehicle Valid WHMIS, Elevated Work Platform, Health & Safety Awareness training, Working at Heights, First Aid certificates

Position Requirements:

Valid Red Seal or BC Journeyperson Electrician certification Minimum 2 years of post-certification experience (high-end residential or commercial TI preferred) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices Proficient with industry-standard tools and techniques Basic computer skills an asset Must have a valid BC driver license and reliable transport to get yourself to/from the Prince George Vanderhoof area at the beginning of each rotation.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $43.00-$46.00 per hour
