Nomad Electric is seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.

This position will primarily consist of completing residential and commercial electrical work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: new construction rough-in and finish, service upgrades and panel swaps, installing and wiring generator panels and Generac systems, EV chargers, baseboard heating systems, as well as ductless heat pumps and HRV installations, all with the support of an apprentice.

Our team does work across all counties of Cape Breton, must be willing to travel and stay overnight (up to a week at a time) when required.

Qualifications:



Red Seal Certified Electrician

Valid Driver's License (with no major infractions)

Hands-on experience supervising and training apprentices

Experience with conduit bending is not essential, but considered an asset

Ability and experience running jobs independently

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
