Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including experience in industrial settings and renovation projects. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems and tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including wiring, installation of fixtures, and troubleshooting. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks as needed. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical installations align with project specifications. Provide maintenance person services as required for minor repairs or renovations related to electrical work. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Ability to perform renovation tasks related to electrical installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
