Argo Sales currently has positions available for experienced Journeyperson Electrician at our Medicine Hat location.

Reporting to the Electrical and Instrumentation Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible to accurately to Layout, plan, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical conduit, wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.

Layout and plan installation of all electrical components within skid packages.

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.

Prepare all as built markup drawings.

Quantify and order required material.

Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment and components.

Participate in ongoing safety prevention initiatives and courses and encourage others' involvement.

Skills/Qualifications

Indentured Journeyperson Electrician. Experience in an industrial oilfield setting, electrical construction or fabrication shop. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Able to work well under pressure and overtime as required. Able to work independently as well as a team. Knowledge of safe operating procedures. Must be reliable and dependable. Local position or within commuting distance.
