Job Overview

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to become part of our growing team. The right candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and experience working across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position involves interpreting blueprints and schematics, performing installations and repairs, and ensuring all electrical work meets current safety and code standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to plan and execute electrical layouts. Safely operate hand and power tools to complete daily tasks efficiently. Diagnose and resolve electrical problems, including those involving low voltage systems and control circuits. Work collaboratively with other trades to coordinate tasks and maintain project timelines. Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and correct potential issues. Maintain compliance with all applicable codes, safety practices, and company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Certified Journeyperson Electrician or equivalent credential. Demonstrated hands-on experience in the electrical trade, ideally across both residential and industrial sectors. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage components. Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams. Proficient with a range of electrical tools and diagnostic equipment. Excellent troubleshooting abilities and keen attention to detail. Capable of working independently or within a team to meet project goals. Clear and professional communication skills when working with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
