Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings
- Perform high voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as frame carpenters and handymen, to complete renovation projects
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions
- Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical hazards and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Experience:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical trade
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience with frame carpentry and renovation projects is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose electrical problems accurately
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. • Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certification (required)
