Location:

Bodyworks Collision and Glass St. John's, NL

Pay:

this is a commission/gain time based pay structure as per current Collective agreement.

Hours:

40 Hours per week,8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Type:

Permanent, Full-Time, Union

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate in Autobody Technology (required).

Qualifications:



Journey Person Red Seal Certified Autobody Technician required.

Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract. Must have own transportation.

Physical stamina, with the ability to comfortably lift up to 50lbs at shoulder height.

A commitment to safety, valuing the use of required PPE, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Tools: Own Tools/Equipment.

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Steel-toed safety boots.

Automotive Body Technician Specific Skills:



Inspect, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems, as required.

Inspect, repair, or replace automotive parts and structure

Skills such as sanding, adjusting, replacing, priming all required.

Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Conduct comprehensive automotive repairs across a diverse range of vehicles.

Review and complete work orders.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, ability to lift 50lbs.
