Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in automotive repair. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, utilize power tools effectively, and provide excellent customer service. The Journeyperson will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality service and maintenance of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced mechanical knowledge. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems. Assemble components and systems as required for vehicle repairs. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance needs. Perform heavy lifting as necessary during the repair process. Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure timely completion of service requests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings. Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus. Proficient in using power tools and other automotive equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

Pay: $38.00-$51.00 per hour
