Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber/ Gas fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and in compliance with local codes and regulations.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Diagnose plumbing issues and determine the best course of action for repairs. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to all safety protocols while working on job sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed for installations or repairs. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
