We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, construction, and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various mechanical tasks. Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality. Perform heavy lifting as necessary for installations and repairs. Collaborate with HVAC professionals to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling systems. Execute carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations as needed. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations. Engage in welding tasks for pipe fittings and other plumbing components when required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and components. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with HVAC systems is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to plumbing work. Experience in construction environments is an asset. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Strong basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Capable of performing heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not required.
