Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson and/or apprentice Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, construction, and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Conduct assessments of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects as needed. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while performing all duties. Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as required for installations and repairs.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with an emphasis on plumbing systems. Proficient in HVAC systems maintenance and repair. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Familiarity with carpentry techniques as they relate to plumbing installations. Capability for heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs. Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $27.56-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
