Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in using power tools. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all plumbing work meets industry standards and regulations.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Perform soldering tasks as needed for pipe connections. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Carry out heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while performing duties.

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber with a valid Journeyperson certification. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing installation and repair. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience in reading blueprints is essential for successful project execution. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Previous experience involving heavy lifting is preferred.

Pay: $27.54-$50.00 per hour
