Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in plumbing systems and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must know new multi family buildings. This role requires expertise in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Perform heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including HVAC and carpentry work. Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing principles. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Proficient in basic math for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience in construction-related tasks such as carpentry or assembly is beneficial. Knowledge of welding techniques may be advantageous for specific projects. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
