Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems and a strong understanding of construction and maintenance practices. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This candidate needs to be ok with working out of town for multiple weeks at a time.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on the job site. Manage heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required during installations or repairs.

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber with a valid Journeyperson license or equivalent certification. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding plumbing schematics. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing tasks is essential.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
