Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires expertise in various plumbing systems, installation, maintenance, and repair tasks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools. Collaborate with carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential hazards. Weld pipes as needed for specific installations or repairs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

Experience

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing systems. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to build rapport with clients while providing high-quality service. Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
