Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities



Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure plumbing is integrated properly. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various work environments. Perform heavy lifting as required for installation or removal of plumbing components. Adhere to all safety protocols while working on job sites. Assist with welding tasks as needed for specific projects or repairs.

Experience



Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous. Experience in construction environments is preferred. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Knowledge of carpentry principles is a plus for integrated installations. Ability to perform assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures and systems. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using various hand tools and power tools effectively. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
