Responsibilities

Perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems as applicable. Troubleshoot complex issues with equipment or systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute projects accurately. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Document work performed and maintain detailed records for compliance and future reference. Assist in training apprentices or junior staff as needed to promote skill development within the team.

Requirements

Valid Journeyperson certification/license in relevant trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC). Proven experience performing skilled trade work in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if required for travel between sites. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety regulations.
