Key Responsibilities

Fire Alarm System Inspections and Repairs

: Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems at various client sites, including those in

remote locations

.

Customer Service

: Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and maintaining professionalism while working in occupied facilities.

Travel

: Frequent travel to multiple job sites within and outside the Calgary area, often including

overnight stays

.

Team Leadership

: Lead or assist in managing small teams, as needed, while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols.

Technical Expertise

: Interpret blueprints and electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with all codes and standards.

Problem-Solving

Requirements

:

Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician

certification. Minimum of

5+ years of experience

in life safety system inspections and testing (preferred).

CFAA Certification

Clean Driver's Abstract

and ability to pass security clearance screenings.

Willingness to travel extensively

within the region, including remote locations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of
