Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including industrial settings, and be adept in various electrical systems and tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and schematics, ensuring all electrical installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers and other diagnostic equipment. Perform low voltage wiring for various applications including security systems, lighting, and telecommunications. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of renovations. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work. Provide maintenance person services as needed to support overall project goals.

Experience

Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial environments is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations. Familiarity with construction processes and renovation projects is an asset. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment. Experience working with low voltage systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential.
