Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including both residential and industrial applications. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Self starting and eager to continue learning Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Work with low voltage systems Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to construction and renovation projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Work effectively solo or as a team

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of electrical schematics. Demonstrated experience as an high end residential electrician or in similar roles. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation. Experience in construction environments with a focus on electrical installations. Familiarity with low voltage systems Electrical experience across various applications including renovation projects. Maintenance Person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in skills related to home improvement tasks.
