Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, Commercial, and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and working with various tools, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in, commercial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other diagnostic equipment. Perform low voltage wiring for various applications as required. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure proper electrical installation. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in an commercial setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fire alarm. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation related to electrical work. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in the electrical trade. Experience in construction or renovation projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
