Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools. Work on low-voltage systems as required for specific projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople during renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and fire alarm system applications. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations. Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in electrical work. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively using logic controllers and other diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on larger projects. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
