We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. Grounded Contracting is wanting the individual to have a strong background in residential electrical systems and maintenance work. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including both residential electrical installations and ongoing maintenance for high-demand properties.

Duties

Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to complete electrical installations and repairs Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks Work on low voltage systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, providing expertise in electrical applications Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced workers as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within the construction field Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and renovation processes Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment safely Maintenance Person experience is a plus; ability to perform general maintenance tasks is beneficial Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
