We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service. This role requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Serve food to customers with attention to presentation and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in the food industry, with specific skills in:
Food service operations, including serving and customer interaction.
Cooking techniques across various cuisines or menu items.
Food handling practices that comply with health regulations.
