This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, as well as the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation tasks. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct troubleshooting to identify issues within plumbing systems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing. Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, and general construction practices is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary for various tasks. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Previous experience in assembly work is a plus. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
