Join our growing team! We are currently hiring for TWO NEW POSITIONS.

2nd year+ Apprentice Plumber, and Journeyman Plumber.

Do you take pride in your work? At Spitfire Mechanical, quality is our guarantee. As part of our team, you will assist in installing new equipment and materials, new construction, renovations, repairs, and replacements for our valued clients.

We primarily specialize in new commercial work, experience is an asset but not a requirement.

Duties:

Occasional apprentice training, supervision, and support Work within the construction industry in a commercial environment Solder, thread pipe, take accurate measurements and interpret isometric drawings Install new equipment and materials Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments Read and interpret blueprints Other duties as assigned
Skills:

Safety-conscious Attention to detail Experience with commercial plumbing and heating systems such as domestic water, hydronic heating, gas piping, drainage, and venting Exercise sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor Strong technical expertise Ability to work well under pressure, individually, and as part of a team Ability to take the correct initiative and work independently while maintaining clear communication with the overseeing supervisor.
Experience & Qualifications:

Journeyman Plumber Certification or proof of apprenticeship Valid class 5 driver's license Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection are considered an asset
Requirements:

Strong work ethic and proactive attitude. We are a growing team and we're looking for someone that is looking to advance their career. Experience in commercial plumbing is considered an asset Gas Ticket is considered an asset

Remuneration:

Wage starting at $39+/hour Christmas bonus Company truck provided after waiting period Benefit package (in progress)

Pay: $39.00-$42.00 per hour

Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
