Atron Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd. has been proudly serving Medicine Hat, Southern Alberta & Southern Saskatchewan for over 23 years. We are a company built on quality work, quality products, high standards, and high ethics. In these past 23 years, Atron has grown from a 2-man operation to having multiple office staff & technicians; some of which have been with the company for over 20 years.

We are looking for a Full Time, Permanent Journeyman/Apprentice HVAC/Refrigeration Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment.

Installation, maintenance and repairs on Residential Furnace and Air Conditioning.

Travelling to customer locations in company service vehicle.

Keeping accurate records of service performed, materials, and work order duration. Attention to detail is a must.

Skills:

Must be dependable, responsible & punctual. Effective time management & ability to prioritize. Ability to work alone or part of a team.

Strong communication skill (both written and verbal)

Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills

Climbing and Lifting equipment into place. (Over 50lbs)

Qualifications:

Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration Certificate / or certified Apprentice

Valid Fall Protection, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, H2S Alive and First Aid training considered an asset.

Gas fitting experience an asset.

Experience with boilers & sheet metal a bonus.

Supermarket service and installation an asset.

Valid class 5 drivers license with an acceptable 5 year driving abstract.

Our Regular Hours are 8:00 - 4:30 with hour lunch break.

Some overtime may be required.

Take turn in on call rotation.

Benefit Plan after 3 months

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
