Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to join our team. Power Flow Energy Services Inc. is a small business in Sherwood Park, AB. We are innovative, and our goal is to provide installation and maintenance services for the oil and gas, commercial, industrial, and HVAC industries.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical work, be adept at reading blueprints and schematics, and have experience with both industrial and commercial electrical systems.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to relevant codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople on projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Provide guidance to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician that is knowledgeable, able to work on their own as well as being comfortable managing crews. Be prepared and willing to learn multiple aspects of the electrical trade ranging from prevantative maintenance on high voltage equipment, distribution installations, HVAC controls as well as industrial control work.

Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. Skilled in using hand tools for electrical installations Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and industrial electrician practices Proficient in working with hand tools, power tools, and various types of electrical equipment. Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and best practices in the industry. Install and troubleshoot electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, motor starters and relays. Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians Current training tickets: CSTS2020, H2S Alive, Fall Arrest

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$46.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
