All our employees play a vital role at Commercial, but our production and fabrication staff are at the backbone of the work we do. Commercial builds and supports vehicles for essential sectors such as fire, utility, towing, municipalities, and others, and we rely every day on our production team members to help build and assemble vehicles for these vital customers.
We're looking for a
Journeyman Fabricator/Welder
to undertake the broad and diverse set of responsibilities required to build and assemble the metal components of our market-leading vehicles. The successful candidate will likely have a strong background with the combination of education and experience to confidently complete (sometimes complex) fabrication work to spec. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of the complete set of metal fabrication and welding tools and be confident in their ability to produce parts that will continually pass inspection and testing. Welds on our vehicles and apparatus are often visible, always important, and no amount of grinding and paint can (or should) hide inferior work.
Employees that have been successful for us have come from a variety of industries including marine, light automotive, manufacturing, and heavy equipment, but we ultimately need a team player that can drill, shear, bend, grind, prep, and weld with the best of them. We encourage all candidates with interest and experience to apply.
