Job Title: Welder

Job Summary:
SmartVac, a division of TKS Industries in Lacombe, AB, seeks a creative and skilled welder, who is interested in running their own shop.

Be your own boss.

At SmartVac, we fabricate a debris tank, plus some other parts to support the SmartVac build. We are a family business. We enjoy a company provided lunch together every Friday and we focus on quality to detail.

This is not a fast-paced metal fabrication facility.

There are no horns indicating breaks and there is no punch in time clock.

This is a permanent full-time position - We work Monday to Thursday 7:30-4:00

If you are a self-motivated, team player who desires a leadership role, then this is for you.

Preference is for a Journey Person, or 3rd Year Apprentice would be considered.

Responsibilities:

Fabrication of Vacuum Tanks Plasma Cutting Working from heights and in confined spaces All position Mig welding Attention to detail, and quality workmanship You must work from detailed engineered drawings and documents You must maintain your inventory, and plan the sequence of tasks Clean and inspect all work before it leaves the shop Document quality control Physically fit Workplace benefits provided
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
