Sylvan Auto Centre is a well-established, local family-owned, and locally operated auto repair shop. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyman Automotive Technician ( 3rd or 4th year apprentice will be considered) to join our team and grow with us.

Position Overview:

As a Journeyman Automotive Technician at Sylvan Auto Centre, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive the best service possible. We are a small, close-knit team, so you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced technicians in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles. Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and meet the highest quality standards. Communicate clearly with advisor about customer vehicle's issues and recommended repairs. Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Automotive Technician certification. ( or 3-4th year apprentice) Experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills.
