Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and construction, demonstrating expertise in various mechanical systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to safety regulations and building codes during all work activities. Engage in heavy lifting as required for installation and repair tasks.

Experience

Candidates should have a solid foundation in the following areas:

Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and performing assembly tasks. Familiarity with construction practices and carpentry skills. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for specific projects.
