Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various plumbing systems. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs. Assemble and build plumbing components according to specifications. Apply basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to plumbing work. Ability to perform mechanical tasks with precision and attention to detail. Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding work environments is essential. A valid journeyman/journeywoman plumber license or equivalent certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.53-$50.10 per hour

Expected hours: 80 - 90 per week
