Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various plumbing tasks, including installation, and repair of piping systems. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Install plumbing systems in modular homes and offices. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading and assembly for different types of piping materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople in the shop to ensure project completion. Execute heavy lifting as required during installations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety regulations. Assist with HVAC installations as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge in related areas.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations. Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to plumbing work. Experience reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installations. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks. Willingness to engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with plumbing work.
