Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Pipefitter/ Plumber / Burner Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, mechanical processes, and construction practices. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating infrastructure in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyperson Pipefitter / Plumber / Burner Mechanic will also be responsible for interpreting schematics and blueprints to execute precise work.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs Conduct rigging operations to lift and position heavy equipment or piping safely Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues within plumbing and HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures and related mechanical systems Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

Valid Journeyperson Pipefitter/ Plumber / Burner Mechanic license or equivalent certification Proven experience in pipefitting / plumbing/ burner mechanic , manufacturing, or construction environments Strong understanding of HVAC systems is a must Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical knowledge related to pipefitting/ plumbing/ heating systems maintenance and system troubleshooting Experience with hand tools, rigging equipment, and basic math calculations Knowledge of schematics related to plumbing and mechanical systems Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
