Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson & apprentice plumbers and sheet metal workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various tools and techniques essential for plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing & ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing & HVAC systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks effectively. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing and HVAC systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion. Perform assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures and systems. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations. Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations throughout all work performed.

Requirements

Proven experience within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools related to plumbing and construction. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations is essential. Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
