On behalf of our client, we are looking for full-time Permanent Full Time Maintenance Mechanic Millwright in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

What\'s the job?

Install, alter, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications, Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
Operate machine tools such as lathes and mill machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production and equipment
Continually improve equipment function via design improvements
Work with health and safety always
Documentation
Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role:

Must have Valid Journeyman Millwright certification.
2-5 years\' industrial mechanical experience
Proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices, pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required.
Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required.
Comfortable using computers
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Comfortable with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
