Journeyman Millwright

, that will be directly reporting to the Millwright Team Lead, this position is based in Edmonton, AB.

Shifts:

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

On-call rotation required.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

Responsible for safely assembling, installing, aligning, commissioning, maintaining, repairing, diagnosing, inspecting, dismantling, and safe decommissioning of compressors and associated components. Responsible for ongoing maintenance, repair, and performance of production equipment in accordance with ISO 9001/14001/45001. Participate and provide feedback on lessons learned, SOP reviews, training sessions, and toolbox meetings. Safely clean incoming parts using chemical solutions, grit blasting equipment, and power tools. Efficiently disassemble components while preserving part integrity and traceability. Perform nondestructive testing on parts. Investigate mechanical issues and propose corrective actions. Perform repairs and overhauls while adhering to established standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in the development of SOPs. Understand and complete all required documentation, as directed. Mentor and train apprentices. Understand and apply safe rigging practices while moving equipment with overhead crane. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Follow safe work practices and adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Inspect work areas for safety hazards and participate in Behavior-based Safety Program (BBS). Carry out QC inspections and reporting on completed jobs and incoming parts, as required. Ensure all quality standards are met and work is completed according to SOPs. Integrate all quality, safety, security, and general shop policies into daily activities. Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Ticketed Journeyperson Millwright. 3-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of compressors, machining processes, and associated equipment. Knowledge of parts and inventory systems.
