Summary

Enerflex is hiring! Reporting to the Supervisor, the purpose of the Journeyman Millwright is to set and level skids, mount and align industrial machinery according to manufactures specifications. Install vessels and piping systems, and to further advance our continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. The individual will be a Journeyman who has an industrial background with a continual focus on safety, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position. This is an afternoon shift position - Monday -Thursday 5pm -3am.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex\'s Calgary South East facility.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, engines, motor, compressor, coolers and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and jacks to position machinery and parts during the installation and set-up of machinery.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment for correction completion.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand tools, precision measuring equipment, power tools and welding equipment.
• Install pressure vessels and piping systems and have the ability to screw pipe 2\xe2\x80\x9d and under using power threading machines.
• Follow work instructions and participating in, accepting and adopting the safety principles.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Alberta Journeymen Certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal as a Millwright.
• 3-5 years of directly related work experience.
• Motivated and willing to learn.
• This position may be required to direct, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime or shift work.
• Results oriented and a team player.
• This is a safety sensitive position, and you will be required to pass a job-related pre-employment health assessment, including a drug and alcohol test.
