Journeyman Machinist / Apprentice Machinist
Job Description
Nechako Steel & Machine Ltd. is a diverse company specializing in design and manufacturing of custom products. We are currently seeking a skilled and ambitious machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work with manual equipment producing high quality products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Must be able to use manual lathes and milling machines
Preform assigned tasks safely and efficiently
Must be able to use micrometers, calipers and gauges
Must be able to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
Must be able to read blueprints/drawings
Qualifications and experience should include:
Journeyman Machinist Certification or a Registered Apprentice
Must be able to work effectively within tight tolerances
Must own required tools
