Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and practical experience to ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and determine necessary repairs or replacements. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance efficiency and longevity. Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving HVAC design and installation. Conduct inspections of heating and cooling systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their HVAC needs and solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems and equipment repair. Proficient in construction techniques relevant to HVAC installations. Experience as a service technician with a solid understanding of plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, and boiler systems. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical components. Experience in field service roles with a focus on appliance repair and property maintenance. Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
