This is a permanent, full-time role with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits!



Responsibilities:



Ensure proper maintenance and service furnaces Repair/replace furnaces as required Exhaust fan repair and service New capital refrigeration installations Ensure proper maintenance and service on MUA, rooftop and refrigeration units Maintain proper records of inspections Complete all required paperwork for the position Complete other tasks as assigned

Experience and Educational Requirements:



Valid Journeyman Certificate / Red Seal Endorsed as an HVAC Technician - able to work on units up and above 5 tons 3 to 5 years residential / commercial experience required

Technical Requirements:



Experience installing and doing service work and troubleshooting on heat pumps Previous experience doing inspections on heating and domestic hot water boilers Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:



Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Excellent time-management skills Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with other Associates in a team environment Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Vehicle required Valid driver's license required On call and overtime required
