Job Description
Cactus Club Salon & Spa is celebrating over 34 years in business and is looking for a Hairstylist to join our team. The successful candidate will have great communication and customer service skills. They must have the stamina to work fully booked 8 hour shifts and be skilled in all areas of hairstyling. Ongoing advanced training is offered throughout the year, along with team building events and staff parties.

Job Responsibilities
Provide a range of services including hair cutting, colouring, highlighting, balayage, perming, updo's and blow dry styles Perform complimentary consultations Suggest hair care products Maintain a consistent relationship with client base in order to ensure return clients Proactively develop new customers Attend and participate in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques
Job Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of hair styles, hair care products and related procedures Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills Able to stand for prolonged periods of time Professional in appearance and demeanor Is a team player Has a Journeyman's Certificate
